Departure in the morning from the Lobby of your hotel in Cancun to head to Tulum in the south of Cancun. This Mayan city built on the seashore was very important for the great commercial network that the Mayans established with Central America. After this we head towards Coba, the largest Mayan city on the peninsula, which was the commercial control center of its time, so it has a huge network of roads; the longest is 100 km long, connecting the site with other important cities of its time.
We will visit the beautiful Colonial city of Valladolid and the Mayan city of Ek Balam, which has majestic buildings and is unlike any other known archaeological site.
The day ends in Mérida for an overnight stay. Accommodation in Mérida.

Breakfast. Departure for Celestún. Apart from having beaches with crystal-clear waters, the Celestun National Park is an ecological reserve. A boat ride (1.30 hours) will allow you to discover the mangroves, the bird island, the Valeosera and Quinitun lagoons. In this reserve live white-tailed deer, armadillos, crocodiles, ocelots, wild turkeys, ducks and countless birds. The main attraction is to observe the pink flamingos (in nesting season). Time for swimming.
NOTE: Bring a bathing suit and towels.
Return to Mérida.

Breakfast. Early morning visit to Uxmal and Kabah. These two cities were part of the “Puuc Region” characterized by the prominence of “Chaac”, the god of rain, who is venerated, conjured and evoked through the magical repetition of the image of the snake. We will head to Izamal to visit this picturesque colonial city where time seems to have stopped. The city's convent has the second largest atrium in the world after that of St. Peter in the Vatican. Travel to Chichén Itzá to enjoy the light and sound show (optional).
